Inspired by my cultural heritage, the traditional ecological knowledge systems of México, and my professional background in wildlife conservation, these works use myth to explore some key concepts in the cosmology (or cosmovision) of the Central Highlands of México.

In these ancestral stories, spiritual tradition, philosophy, and land use practices come together in ways that describe cosmic processes, the cycles of nature, and of mysteries we confront every day such as the nature of time, cause & effect,  purpose, and death.
